ADULTERY IS JUST a symptom of SIN hidden in the depth of the heart.
Romans 7:14-20
For many years I was distressed about my own lifestyle. My heart was full of condemnation because what I din't want to do I found myself doing again and again. I went to church every Sunday and confess all that I had done during the week.
I could sometimes cry, jump up and shake my body thinking I was shaking sin to leave me.
I could even role on the ground in the dust thinking that I was sanctifying myself.
This was our usual style in our church.
Sometimes people could fall down and talk as if there were demons talking. Then the pastor could put a microphone at victim's mouth and order the victim to speak by answering many questions.
It became a problem to me and brought so many injuries in my heart.
I questioned myself the right way to receive salvation.
Many times I looked at the evil I used to do to be sin.
Sin is not what one does, this I came to learn later when I discovered the secret of forgiveness of sin and to be born again.
Sin cannot be seen from the outside but it's hidden inside the heart and produces the outcome.
The outcome of sin can be seen from outside as adultery, hatred, killing, theft and many other evil deeds. All these are just symptoms of sin hidden in the heart.
I used to think that when somebody does evil is a sinner and if he is humble and generous he is saved. All these were only my thoughts, I was looking at the outward appearance of people and conclude by my own humanistic standard.
I still believe that many denominations and many people are still held up in this prison of ignorance that I used to live in.
They still believe that they have sin and they can do something to sanctify themselves.
They mistake the outward deeds to be sin and become victims of Satan.
Adultery, stealing, killing is not sin but the outcome deeds of sin.
Sin is the seed and the outcome are the fruits of sin.
